Frontside 360.
FS360
フロントサイドに1回転
How to
Step by stepOn a medium slope, keep a steady medium speed (fast enough not to stall, no faster) and ride straight with your weight leaning slightly onto the toe edge.
Since this spins one full turn more than a 180, aim a touch faster and a touch higher than the speed at which you land 180s comfortably.
Before you pop, wind up by turning only your upper body against your direction of travel (toward your back side, the BS direction).
Twist your chest and belly button 20 to 30 degrees toward your back, while your hips and board stay pointed down the hill. Separating your upper and lower body like this stores spin, which snaps back like a stretched rubber band the moment you release it.
Sink down by bending both knees deeply, keeping your hips stacked directly over the middle of both feet.
Don't sit back. Keeping your spine vertical to the snow sets up a clean, upright spin axis later.
As you ollie, unwind your stored upper body all at once toward the FS direction (toe side).
Lead with your front shoulder, then chest, then hips, and send your eyes ahead toward where you're spinning. Your gaze pulls the rotation, so let your head lead.
Once the board leaves the snow, pull both knees toward your chest and fold both arms in front of your chest to make yourself small.
The closer you gather your arms and legs to your body, the faster you spin on the same momentum, so use this to catch up to the rotation.
Past about 270 degrees, go looking for your landing spot in your original direction of travel with your eyes.
Spotting the landing naturally helps your rotation come to a stop.
Staying in your normal stance, bring the board down flat and parallel to the snow, and on touchdown bend both knees deeply to absorb the impact.
Finish by rolling onto either the toe or heel edge in your direction of travel to ride away.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe wind-up before you pop decides how much you spin. You can't add momentum in the air, so twisting your upper body toward your back before your feet leave the snow and fully releasing it as you pop is the shortcut to completing the 360.
Rotation stalls around 270 degrees and you land sideways (switch-ish) → the wind-up before the pop was too shallow, so there wasn't enough spin to begin with → before takeoff, firmly twist your upper body 20 to 30 degrees toward your back and fully release your shoulders and chest as you pop.
