Backflip.
バックフリップ
後方宙返り
How to
Step by step[Mandatory] Wear a helmet and back protector.
For your first attempts, only try this into an airbag or on a trampoline
Prerequisites: you can hit a straight air cleanly, and you can complete a backflip on a trampoline.
Get both solid before moving to a snow kicker
Use a medium-to-large kicker (a small one won't give you enough air time to come all the way around).
Approach straight to the lip and carry enough speed
Coming into the lip, stand tall and keep your weight stacked over both feet (between the arch and the balls of your feet).
Don't lean back into your setup; leaning back kills the upward drive off the lip
At the top of the lip, pop off both feet at once, pressing the whole sole straight down into the snow to launch upward.
Think "up" first. Your spin is set in that instant of takeoff and can't be added in the air, so height (air time) is what buys you room to finish the rotation
As you leave the lip, lift your chin and send your head back while pulling both shoulders back to start the backward rotation.
Look back into the sky. The head movement is what triggers the whole body to rotate
Once you're spinning, pull both knees to your chest and make yourself small and compact.
The smaller you tuck, the faster you spin for the same effort, so this is where the rotation really picks up speed
Once you've come around and the landing comes into view, release the tuck and extend your legs.
Opening up slows the spin and parks it right there, so the timing of your extension is how you fine-tune the rotation
Land with your weight centered over the board and both knees bent to absorb the impact.
Look ahead down the slope
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe rotation turns backward around a horizontal axis running side to side through your body (the shoulder-to-shoulder line). If that axis tilts you'll drift sideways and land crooked, so even out the height and weighting of your left and right shoulders at takeoff
Leaning back as you pop off the lip → your weight escapes behind you, the force never goes upward, and you come up short on the knuckle below the landing → just before takeoff, stand tall and stack your weight over the arch/balls of your feet to drive straight up
