FS Cork 540.
FSコーク540
フロントサイド540に斜め1回転
How to
Step by step[Required] Wear a helmet and back protector.
Learn the rotation and landing first on an airbag or water jump, then move it onto a snow kicker
Make sure the basics are solid first: you can spin a frontside 360 without thinking, you have no fear of going upside down from a backflip, and you get plenty of height off the kicker on a straight air
Take the same approach line as a frontside 360.
Come in straight at the lip and carry enough speed to finish the full rotation. Don't scrub speed near the takeoff
Just before takeoff, tuck your arms loosely in front of your chest.
You can only create spin at the moment you leave the lip, so start sending your lead shoulder (the one that drives the frontside spin, the left shoulder for a regular rider) in the direction of travel
At the lip, extend both legs and pop straight up while turning your lead shoulder forward and down to start the frontside spin.
Think of kicking the board straight up underneath you
The instant you leave the lip, drop your head and lead shoulder down toward the front-foot side.
This adds the vertical component that lays the spin axis over on a diagonal. If the head stays up, you only get a flat frontside 540
Holding that tilted posture, pull both knees up to your chest to make your body small.
The spin you already have is locked in at takeoff and can't be increased in the air, so the tighter you tuck arms and legs, the faster you rotate for the same effort. A 540 is one and a half turns, so this tuck is what buys you the rotation speed
Lead with your eyes, looking in the frontside direction (where your lead shoulder is heading).
The more your eyes go ahead of your body, the more stable the spin
When the full one-and-a-half is coming around and the landing comes into view, open your knees and extend both legs to stop the spin.
Land switch (back foot forward), both feet hitting the middle of the board at the same time, and bend your knees to absorb the impact
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logSpin is created only at the moment of takeoff. Waving your arms in the air won't add to it, so commit everything to sending the lead shoulder at the lip
It comes out as a flat frontside 540 with no cork → the head drop is late or too shallow → right after takeoff, clearly drop your head toward the front-foot side, chasing your lead shoulder
