前方への縦回転フリップ
How to
Step by step[Required] Wear a helmet and back protector.
A forward flip risks landing on your head, so always learn this over an airbag or into water on your first attempts
Prerequisites: a stable straight air with clean landings, a nose press where you can commit your weight to the front foot, and a feel for forward rotation from trampoline front flips.
Have all three before trying this
Approach slightly faster than your usual kicker speed.
Just before the lip, look not at the lip edge itself but a little beyond it, in the direction you'll launch
As you reach the lip, bend both knees lightly (about 120 degrees) and stay centered over the board.
Don't let your weight drift forward yet
At the top of the lip, snap your weight onto the ball of your front foot and press the nose tip down into the edge of the lip.
At the same time, lighten the back foot and drive your hips over the front foot. The nose catches and your lower body stops moving forward while your upper body keeps going, so you naturally tip forward
The instant the nose catches, tuck your chin to your chest and send your eyes down under the board (behind you).
Leading with the head is what starts the forward flip
As you tip in, pull both knees to your chest and grab your shins to make yourself as compact as possible.
The smaller you ball up, the faster you spin on the same momentum you got at takeoff. You can't add spin once you're in the air, so you create speed through shape
Stay tucked through the rotation.
When the landing slope comes into view, release your shins and extend both legs down. Extending slows the spin, which stops you from over-rotating
As the board comes close to parallel with the snow, re-bend both knees and land on the full base, absorbing the impact with your knees.
At touchdown, bring your eyes back to the direction of travel (down the slope)
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logHow hard you stab the nose and load the front foot makes or breaks this trick. Feel like you're spiking the nose tip into the lip with the ball of your front foot, so only the lower body stops and the upper body carries forward into the tip-over. Weak loading lets the nose ride through and you just get a plain front flip
The nose won't catch and it turns into a plain front flip → your weight shift to the ball of the front foot is too late at the lip. At the top, lighten the back foot, drive your hips directly over the front foot, and press the nose tip fully into the snow
