Ski BS 180 Kicker.

How to
Step by stepApproach the kicker straight on.
Keep a steady medium speed, fast enough that you won't stall, no faster. Slowing down means you run out of pop on the lip and can't finish the spin.
On the run-in, keep both skis parallel at hip width, knees softly bent, weight centered.
Look at the lip (the end of the jump).
Just before the lip, sink the knees once, then extend your legs and pop straight up as you cross the lip.
Don't dive forward, or you'll go head-first; keep your weight stacked over your skis and drive upward.
As you pop, start turning your upper body (chest and head) first toward your heel side, which is your back.
Your lower body follows a beat later, so leading with the chest is what starts the rotation.
In the air, draw both poles in front of your chest and pull your arms in tight.
Spreading your limbs slows the spin; the more compact you are, the faster you rotate on the same amount of pop.
As your back comes around, the landing drops out of view for a moment.
Don't panic, keep sending your head in the direction of the spin and the landing slope reappears as you finish the 180.
Once you spot the landing, line your skis up with your direction of travel (switch, riding backward).
Keep both skis parallel and leave just a touch of weight toward your toes so you don't wash out forward.
On touchdown, bend both knees deeply to absorb the impact and ride away switch.
Stiff legs will bounce you out and bring you down.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logAim your pop straight up. The more you jump forward, the more your body tips sideways and the spin goes off-axis, catching an edge on landing. A vertical pop keeps your rotation axis upright so the 180 stops cleanly.
Bailing partway through the spin out of fear → caused by easing off the upper-body lead at the lip and stalling the rotation. On an airbag or foam pit, practice committing your chest all the way around without worrying about the landing.
