How to

Step by step
  1. Ride straight in a regular stance at a slightly higher speed.

Keep your knees softly bent and your weight centered over the board. More speed means more air time, which buys you the room to complete the full 360.

  2. Pre-wind your upper body the opposite way before you pop.

Turn your shoulder line slightly toward your toe (toe edge) side while keeping your hips facing forward. Coiling your upper and lower body against each other like this loads a spring: the instant you unweight, your lower body whips around to catch up, driving a strong rotation toward your back (heel edge), the backside direction.

  3. Unwind that coil all at once while popping the nose straight down hard with the ball of your front foot.

At the same moment, throw both shoulders and arms around toward your back (BS direction). Your spin is set the instant you leave the snow and cannot be added in the air, so time the pop and the shoulder swing to fire together.

  4. Once airborne, pull both knees up toward your chest and tuck both arms in front of your body.

The smaller you make yourself, the faster you spin for the same effort. Keep your eyes looking over your leading shoulder, tracking where the rotation is taking you (toward your back).

  5. Just past 270, finish turning your head and spot the landing.

Extend both knees so the bases of both feet point down at the snow, and land both feet at once with your weight centered over the board. Absorb the impact by bending your knees and ankles.

Tips

Lock in Nollie BS 180 first. The feeling of pre-winding the upper body and letting it snap back, which you build at 180, is the exact foundation for the 360.

COMMON MISTAKE

Rotation stalls between 90 and 180 → Caused by your head and shoulders freezing when the landing leaves your view. This is exactly where you must turn your head first and keep tracking your back over your leading shoulder to carry the spin through.

The rest of the tips, fixes for each mistake, and what to try next are in the app — learn them while you log. Intermediate+ tricks are for Members.
