Sone 360.
ソネ360
ソネの回転を360まで回す
How to
Step by stepOn a medium slope, build just enough speed to keep gliding without stalling.
Too fast and the tail washes out before you can pop, so aim for a touch quicker than a brisk walk.
While moving, bend your back knee deeply and pull your hips directly over your back-foot heel so your weight sits on the tail (rear of the board).
Let your front leg extend slightly to lift the nose (front of the board) and flex the tail down hard. The more the board bows, the more spring-back energy it stores.
The instant the tail feels fully loaded, push back against the snow with your back foot to stand up, and at the same moment begin twisting your upper body backside (BS = toward your back).
All of your spin has to be created before you leave the snow; you cannot add it once you are in the air, so the pop and the twist must fire in the same instant.
As you twist, lead with the shoulder and eyes on your spinning side, sending them around first.
The order is eyes, shoulder, hips, then feet follow. A backside spin hides your direction of travel behind your back early on (the blind spot), so keep your eyes moving and hunt for the landing to keep the rotation alive.
Once airborne, draw both hands in close to your body and tuck your knees to stay compact.
The tighter you pull your limbs in, the faster you spin without adding any spin, which buys you the room to complete the full 360.
After about 270 degrees, when the landing comes into view, open your hands and legs slightly to slow the spin, and bring your weight back evenly over the center of the board (between both feet).
Bend your knees to absorb the impact and land in your normal stance.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logFirst nail Sone 180 (a half-rotation off the same tail pop). The timing it teaches, matching the twist to the exact moment you pop, is the foundation the 360 is built on.
Rotation stalls early and dies around 180 degrees → your eyes and shoulders froze in the backside blind spot → send your gaze in the spin direction before you leave the snow and keep your head leading so it never stops.
