Nollie 540.
ノーリー540
ノーリーから1回転半
How to
Step by stepStart from a solid Nollie 360 in both directions, and be comfortable riding switch.
A 540 always finishes in a switch landing, so without this base you can't build the trick.
On a medium slope, carry slightly more speed than usual.
Speed buys you distance and air time, which is what gives you the time to complete the extra half rotation. Plan your eyes: look down the slope first, then go hunt for the landing last.
In your approach, wind up by twisting your shoulders and hips slightly against the direction you'll spin.
This stores tension you'll unwind off the lip.
Just before you pop, shift your weight onto the ball of your front foot to flex the nose.
Keep the back leg lightly extended, bend the front knee and sink down, loading spring into the front half of the board.
Snap the loaded front knee straight to drive the nose down, and ride the rebound up.
At the same moment, release the wound-up shoulders and hips all at once to start the spin. Spin from your core, not by throwing your arms, and your axis stays steady.
The instant you leave the snow, pull both knees toward your chest and fold both arms in front of you to make your body small.
Your spin speed is locked in at takeoff and can't be added in the air, so the smaller you make yourself, the faster you turn for the same amount of spin.
Around the 360 mark, look over your lead shoulder to spot the landing.
Your eyes pull the rotation around with them.
With about a quarter turn left, open your folded arms slightly and drop your knees to slow the spin.
Opening the arms acts as a brake and stops you over-rotating.
Land switch (back foot leading) with even weight on both feet.
Absorb the impact with soft knees and stop your upper body facing the direction you finished the spin.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe prerequisite is a stable Nollie 360 both ways. Use the same spinning feel and just earn the extra half turn through pop height and tucking tight.
Spin stalls around 450° → pop is shallow with too little air, or your body is extended and spinning slowly. Drive the nose down with the ball of your front foot for height, and tuck knees and arms tight to your chest right after takeoff.
