Sone 180.
ソネ180
ノーズプレスからの独特な抜きで半回転
How to
Step by stepRoll in straight down a gentle-to-medium slope at a slow, steady speed.
Too much speed kicks you off the tail the moment you load it, so just enough to keep moving is plenty.
Keep both knees softly bent and shift your weight directly over the back foot, settling firmly onto it to lift the nose.
Bend the back knee about 30 to 40 degrees and sink down so only the tail rides the snow. Keep your eyes a little ahead of you.
Once the tail is on the snow and your pivot narrows to that single back-foot contact point, lead with your head and eyes toward the backside (your back, the heel-edge side).
With the contact narrowed to a point the board stands on a thin axis and turns easily, so the more you send your gaze here the more the rest of the spin follows.
Rotate backside in this order: eyes, then shoulders, then hips.
Pull your lead arm (left arm for regular) in toward your body and draw your back shoulder (right shoulder for regular) around behind you, and the board swings past 90 degrees on the tail pivot. The closer you tuck your arms and limbs, the faster you spin for the same effort.
Just past 90 degrees, start lowering the nose back to the snow and return your weight evenly to both feet from the back-foot-only press.
At a full 180, land switch with both feet flat, settle lightly onto the new front foot (your old back foot), and ride away.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logNarrowing the pivot to the single point where the tail touches builds a thin, upright axis you can turn with little force. A shallow press that leaves the nose on the snow spreads the contact into a line, and the board feels heavy and won't come around.
The tail press collapses partway and the nose drops → the back knee is straightening and the weight is escaping forward. Hold the back knee at 30 to 40 degrees and keep your hips stacked directly over the back foot.
