Ski Slide Spin 360.
スライドスピン360
雪面からスキーを離さずスライドで1回転
How to
Step by stepOn a gentle slope, glide straight at a slow, controlled speed — just fast enough not to stop.
Too fast and the skis chatter and won't slide, so keep it manageable.
Set both skis flat on the snow and keep the edges (the sides of the skis) from biting in.
Bend your knees slightly, press your shins forward into the boot tongues, and stand evenly across the whole sole of each foot. If an edge tips up, it digs in and acts like a brake, stopping the spin.
Before you start turning, lead with your eyes toward the way you want to go (frontside — the front of your body), then your shoulders, then your hips, winding your upper body slightly ahead of your direction of travel to store a coil.
Your lower body and both skis still face forward.
Unwind that coil — drive your shoulders and hips together in the direction you want to spin.
Keeping the skis flat, push your heels around and let the soles slide across the snow, so both skis pivot and carry your whole body into the rotation.
Through the spin, keep your weight centered over the middle of both skis.
If it drifts onto the front ski's toe side or the back ski's heel side, an edge bites and you catch — stay even on both feet. Tuck both poles in close to your body to stay compact, which makes you spin faster.
Once you've come all the way around to facing forward, fix your eyes down the slope and settle back into a normal stance — knees softly bent, weight even on both feet.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logYou stay on the snow instead of jumping, so any fall is from low down — a friendly first spin to learn on
An edge catches partway through and stops you → a knee has rolled inward or outward mid-spin, tipping the ski onto its edge → keep both knees stacked over your shins and the soles flat so the edges never touch the snow
