Ski One Foot Spin.
ワンフットスピン
片足を浮かせて回転。グラブを加えるのが一般的
How to
Step by stepOn a gentle slope, glide straight down the fall line at a slow, controlled speed that won't stall you.
Bend both knees slightly and stay low so the one-foot balance that follows is stable.
Choose your easier-turning leg as the standing leg (for a left spin, standing on the left foot usually feels natural).
Center your weight between the ball of the foot and the heel of the standing leg, then lift the other (free) ski gently off the snow. Keep the standing knee bent about 30 degrees and stack your hips directly over that foot. Don't lock the knee straight, or you'll lose balance upward.
Look slightly ahead in the direction you're spinning and lead with your shoulders and chest.
Turning the upper body first lets the lower body follow, so you start spinning like a top around the center of the standing ski.
Pull the lifted free foot and both arms in toward your center to make yourself compact.
The tighter you tuck, the faster you spin for the same starting momentum (the same reason a figure skater speeds up by drawing the arms in).
Once it feels easy, reach the free-side hand down and grab the boot or the tail (back) of your ski for style.
Bending the free leg back and grabbing the tail is the classic shape.
Just before you finish the rotation, return your gaze to your direction of travel and extend the tucked free foot forward and down to the snow.
Spreading the limbs naturally slows the spin, so let it wind down smoothly rather than stopping abruptly, and return to your normal riding stance.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logKeep the standing-leg weight between the ball of the foot and the heel for the most stable platform. Too far toward the toes pitches you forward; too far toward the heel sits you back and kills the spin.
You can't hold the one-foot balance and put the foot down mid-spin → the standing knee straightened, raising your center, and the hips drifted off the standing foot. Bend the knee about 30 degrees, stack the hips directly over the foot, and stay low.
