Ski Nose Press.
ノーズプレス
ノーズ側に荷重しテールを浮かせる
How to
Step by stepStart riding straight on a gentle slope.
Keep your speed just a touch faster than walking. Going fast makes a forward fall harder to stop and feels much scarier.
Bend both knees slightly (about 30 degrees) and drive your hips out over the nose (front).
Shift your whole upper body forward until your back foot feels light. Don't just pull your hips back, or the tail won't lift — point your belly button toward the nose tip.
Press down on the nose through the ball of your front foot (base of the toes).
Using your front foot as a pivot and pushing with your weight levers the tail (back) up off the snow. Relax your back foot and feel like you're lifting the back of the board.
Once the tail is up, hold your front knee bent and lock your hip height.
Look 2 to 3 meters down the slope. If your eyes drop to your feet, your upper body folds forward and you fall.
Hold that position for a few seconds and ride, staying balanced.
Release by slowly shifting weight back onto your rear foot and drawing your hips back over the center of the board.
Lower it gradually — a sudden drop lets the tail catch and trip you.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logKeeping your hips directly over the nose is the key to stability. The closer your weight sits over the pivot (front foot), the less you tip either forward or back.
Falling forward → Your hips drifted ahead of your front foot, or your upper body folded so your head led the way. Send your belly button forward but stop your hips right over the front foot, and keep your eyes far ahead.
