  1. Build steady speed on a gentle-to-medium slope

  2. Shift weight to the tail side, centered on the heel-to-ball line of your back foot

  3. Pull your pelvis toward the tail, riding back from the hips

  4. As the nose lifts, lock the position with knees slightly bent

  5. Spread your arms for balance, aim to hold 5 seconds or more

  6. To release, slowly return your center of gravity to center
