Kicker FS 720.
キッカーFS720
キッカーでフロントサイドに2回転
How to
Step by stepApproach the lip (the top edge of the kicker) straight and with plenty of speed, keeping the board flat.
Slowing down or catching an edge late bleeds off your momentum, so stay riding the whole base into the takeoff.
About two to three meters before the lip, wind up by turning both shoulders and your chest toward your heel edge (the backside direction) first, with your eyes leading slightly ahead the same way.
Keep your hips and legs facing forward for now. Loading only your upper body first creates a spring that unwinds powerfully at takeoff.
As you reach the lip, extend your front foot and back foot together and pop straight up.
At the same moment, start releasing your loaded shoulders and chest the other way, into the frontside direction (driving your back toward your toe edge). Your spin is set in this instant off the lip and cannot be added in the air, so go for height first and let the unwinding wind-up supply the rotation.
The moment the board leaves the snow, pull both arms tight to your chest and draw both knees up toward your chest to make your body small.
The closer your arms and legs are to your center, the faster you spin for the same effort. Spreading out slows you down.
As you rotate, pick up the landing surface with your eyes every half turn.
Just past one full rotation, spot the slope once and feel that you still have more than half a turn to go.
A little before completing two full turns (about a quarter turn short), open both arms out to shoulder height.
Spreading your limbs brakes the spin and lets you line up with the landing.
Set the board along your direction of travel (regular stance), bend both knees to absorb the impact, and land following the pitch of the landing slope.
Look a few meters ahead rather than straight down at the landing to keep your upper body steady.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logYour spin is decided in the instant of takeoff and cannot be increased in the air. So instead of straining to spin more once airborne, focus on the wind-up and the pop off the lip — that is what makes a clean two rotations.
The spin stalls a half to three-quarters of a turn short → either you did not fully extend your legs at takeoff, or your limbs opened in the air and slowed you down. Get height by popping straight up off the lip, then snap both arms and both knees in tight right after you leave it.
