フロントサイド270度回転して乗る
How to
Step by stepApproach the box frontside (back facing downhill, exiting toward your heel edge) at a slow-to-medium speed that keeps you rolling but never stalls.
Put your eyes on the entry lip of the box.
Pre-wind on the way in.
Keep the board tracking straight while you twist your shoulders, arms, and head the opposite way to the direction you want to spin. Bend the knees lightly and let only your upper body lean into that counter-twist. This is like winding up a rubber band, and it is where the spin you carry into the air is set.
Just before the lip, sink the knees deep to load up.
Keep your weight even over the center of the board, from the balls of the feet back toward the heels.
Extend the loaded knees to pop straight up into a small ollie.
The instant you leave the snow, snap the pre-wound shoulders, arms, and head back toward the spin (frontside). The lower body and board follow and begin to rotate. Lead with your eyes and shoulders, hunting for the entry of the box as it comes around last.
In the air, pull the arms and legs in tight.
The more compact you are, the faster you turn on the same amount of spin. Stop the shoulder rotation when the board reaches square to the box (90 degrees across it, the boardslide position).
As the board comes sideways, land evenly on both feet straddling the box.
Keep your weight slightly toward the heels with your body a touch back, so you don't dive forward over your toes. Stack your hips directly over the box, on the center of the board.
Lock your eyes on the exit of the box and slide it out sideways in a frontside boardslide.
At the exit, bring the shoulders back to bring the board straight again, and absorb the landing with the knees.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe spin is set the moment you leave the lip and cannot be added in the air. So load the full 270 into the pre-wind (how far you twist shoulders, arms, and head the opposite way) during the approach.
You only spin about 180 and land angled across the box → the pre-wind was too shallow, so you carried too little spin off the lip. Don't try to add it by throwing the arms in the air; increase how far you counter-twist the shoulders and head before you pop.
