スイッチスタンスでの50-50
How to
Step by stepApproach the box straight in switch stance (your usual back foot now leads).
Look at the far end of the box, not the entry — staring at the lip makes you tense up and stall.
Keep your approach slow, just enough not to stall.
Switch is harder to steer, so less speed makes it easier to hold the board straight.
Just before you get on, line up the board's direction (nose = your leading end in switch) parallel with the long edge of the box.
Even a slight angle catches an edge and bucks you off.
Bend both knees about 20 to 30 degrees and drop your hips a touch lower than usual.
A lower stance keeps you from toppling when you wobble.
Press lightly through the ball of your leading (switch front) foot on the center of the board, keep it tipped onto neither edge, and set the whole base flat on the box.
Weight it 50 front / 50 back.
Lock your upper body and hips parallel to the direction the box runs.
In switch your hips tend to open and turn you sideways, so keep your navel pointing at the exit.
Hold that posture to the far end, then extend both legs together gently to step off onto the snow.
Keep riding switch after landing to finish clean.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logGet your regular 50-50 solid first. In switch your usual front foot moves to the back, so having a confident front-foot feel already wired in removes a lot of hesitation.
Your body twists and the board drifts toward your regular direction → the upper body is rotating because you instinctively try to revert to regular → point your navel at the exit and lock your shoulder line parallel to the box.
