Double Cork 1080.
ダブルコーク1080
斜め2回転+横3回転
How to
Step by stepGear is non-negotiable.
Wear a helmet, back protector, and impact shorts, and drill this into an airbag or water ramp many times before taking it to snow. Coming up short and landing on your head is a real risk with this trick.
Prerequisites: you can land Cork 720 consistently both directions, you have plenty of margin on straight frontside/backside 720s, and you're comfortable with airtime off 15m+ kickers.
If any of these aren't solid, go back to them.
Think of this as two tilted, head-low rotations woven together while you spin three full turns sideways (1080°).
The two off-axis flips and the three spins aren't done in sequence — they blend from the very start.
Take your approach a notch faster than a normal 720, and stay tall with the board flat all the way to the lip.
Lose speed here and you won't get the height, so you'll drop mid-rotation.
As you leave the lip, open your leading shoulder (the one in your spin direction) first to wind up the upper body, and at the same moment drop that shoulder down and forward at an angle.
Let your eyes track past that dropped shoulder toward the snow below. Don't dive head-first — tip in from the shoulder. That sets up the first tilted rotation.
Right off the lip, get small fast.
Pull both knees deep into your chest and tuck both arms across the front of your chest. The smaller you make yourself, the faster you spin on the same momentum. The spin force is set the instant you leave the lip and can't be added in the air, so how quickly you tuck decides whether you come all the way around.
As you come out of the first tilted rotation your head points up briefly, then you drop the opposite shoulder to enter the second tilted rotation.
Stay tucked through this, and keep your eyes cutting toward the inside of the spin (where you're heading). You'll glimpse the snow for an instant, but don't open up yet.
In the back half of the third spin, once you clearly pick up the landing, slowly open your arms and knees to slow the rotation and line the board up with your direction of travel.
Land on both feet at once, bending the knees deeply to sink and absorb the impact, keeping your upper body stacked over the board so you don't fold forward or back.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logAll your spin force is set the instant you leave the lip — you can't add to it in the air. So pour everything into approach speed, shoulder wind-up, and how deeply you drop the shoulder at the lip. Straining to "spin harder" mid-air does nothing.
Under-rotating so the board lands sideways → not enough spin off the lip. Either the approach is slow, the shoulder wind-up is shallow, or you didn't drop the shoulder enough. Don't try to add it in the air — build lip speed and shoulder tip-in.
