Double Cork 1260.
ダブルコーク1260
斜め2回転+横3.5回転
How to
Step by step[Required] Wear a helmet, back protector, and hip and knee pads, and learn the shape first into an airbag or water jump.
This is an advanced trick with a heavy crash penalty, so don't try it straight onto a hard landing
As a prerequisite, you should land Double Cork 1080 cleanly every time off a sizable kicker.
The 1260 just adds another half rotation of spin (180 degrees) on top of that, so it won't come around if the base isn't solid
Approach with enough speed for an 18m-plus large kicker.
Because the 1260 asks for more rotation, you'll run out of spin if your air time (height) is short. Coming into the lip, don't lean hard on an edge; keep the base closer to flat so you don't scrub speed
As you leave the lip, extend up through the takeoff and set the lead rotation.
Throw your front shoulder toward the way you're spinning, and at the same time tuck your chin and drop your head down and forward at an angle. Diving head-first on a diagonal is what tilts the rotation off the straight vertical axis (off-axis)
The instant you're airborne, pull both knees to your chest, draw your heels toward your seat, and wrap both arms around your front leg near the shin.
The smaller and tighter a ball you make, the faster you spin for the same launch energy. Since the 1260 carries more rotation, get into this tuck even quicker and tighter than for a 1080
Hold the tuck through two off-axis flips while you keep spinning sideways.
Don't try to stare at one spot; just catch glimpses slightly ahead of your travel line so the flow of your vision tells you which rotation you're on
Coming out of the second flip you'll start to see the landing below.
On a 1080 you'd open here, but on a 1260 you don't release the arms and knees yet; you hold the tuck. That extra half rotation comes from the spin you built on takeoff, so don't try to add rotation in the air, just stay balled up and let it come all the way around
Once you spot the landing, release the arms and knees, stand up, and at the end point the board down your line with your hips and legs to land switch (back foot leading).
That hip move isn't generating new rotation, it's finishing the half you held back and squaring the board to the landing line. Send your eyes toward your direction of travel (your switch line) and bend both knees deeply to absorb the impact
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logAll your spin is set the moment you leave the lip; you can't add to it in the air. So building more approach speed and a stronger pop, shoulder lead, and head dive than you use on a 1080 is what decides whether you come all the way around
You only get the 1080 around and come up half a rotation short → not enough launch energy or height. Add approach speed and strengthen the pop, shoulder, and head lead. You can't add spin in the air, so create it all on takeoff
