Butter BS 360.
バターBS360
バターからバックサイドに1回転
How to
Step by stepEnter on a mellow-to-medium slope, riding flat-based and stable after a turn.
A brisk-walking speed is plenty. Too much speed and you can't bleed it off in the press, so the rotation stalls at the start.
For a nose-butter version, bend your front knee and shift your weight directly over your front foot, loading the ball of that foot near the nose to lift the tail.
For a tail-butter, set up the same way over your back foot, concentrating weight from the ball of that foot back toward the arch to lift the nose. The lifted end's opposite contact point becomes your pivot.
Push into the board to load its flex while you send your eyes first toward your back (the backside direction), then your shoulders, then your hips, in that order.
Winding the upper body first lets the lower body chase it, and that stored separation is what generates your spin.
As you release the wound-up upper body toward your back, unweight at the same moment to release the board's flex.
When the board's rebound and your upper-body unwind line up, you start turning without having to push off the snow.
Once you're turning, draw your arms and legs in toward your center to stay compact.
The amount of spin is set the instant you leave the snow and can't be added in the air, so the smaller you make yourself, the faster you'll come around on the same momentum.
Past the halfway point (180 degrees), when the landing direction comes into view, shift your weight off the pivot foot onto the other foot and return to an even, normal stance.
Bend your knees softly to absorb the impact and bring the board flat to land.
Locking your eyes on the exit direction helps shut the spin down cleanly.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logAs a prerequisite, you should be comfortable with either a nose- or tail-butter and a stable backside 180. Without the feel of balancing on one pivoting foot plus a backside half-rotation, holding balance through the spin is tough.
The spin stalls partway → your eyes and wind-up didn't lead enough, so takeoff momentum is small → send your neck and shoulders toward your back while the nose is still visible, and coil the upper body before you take off.
