Airmat Frontflip.
エアマットフロントフリップ
エアマットでフロントフリップを練習
How to
Step by stepApproach at a steady, controllable medium speed, the same as a straight air (a jump where you fly straight).
Lean your upper body slightly forward and keep your eyes on the lip (the takeoff edge).
Just before the lip, bend your knees fairly deep (roughly 90 to 100 degrees) to load up.
Keep your weight spread across the whole foot from arch to ball, so it doesn't slip back behind you.
At the lip, extend your ankles and knees sharply to spring straight up.
Pop upward first rather than diving forward, and the instant you leave, send your head slightly forward to start the front rotation. Your spin is set the moment you leave the lip; you can't add to it in the air.
Once airborne, tuck your chin to your chest and pull both knees toward your chest.
The tighter you ball up, the faster you rotate forward on the same amount of spin. Keep your eyes on the direction of your tucked knees, the front-and-down line you are rotating toward.
At the halfway point you'll see the sky below your feet, and as you keep rotating the airbag landing comes into view.
When you spot the mat, release your knees and extend your legs downward to land feet first.
Since the airbag is harmless if you roll forward, coming up short and landing on your seat is fine.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logSpring up first, then rotate forward, in that order. This lets you start spinning near the top of your arc so you get both height and rotation. Diving forward first flattens your flight path and you reach the mat before finishing the flip.
Flat trajectory, can't finish the flip → you dove forward off the lip without enough upward spring → at takeoff, extend ankles and knees straight up first, and only send your head forward right after.
