  1. Build enough speed on a medium slope

  2. During ollie or spin motion, intentionally tap (strike) the tail to the snow

  3. Use the rebound at the moment the tail contacts

  4. Gain additional rotation or height from the tap rebound

  5. Continue the original trick or land
