Andy 540.
アンディ540
アンディの回転を540まで回す
How to
Step by stepOn a medium slope, build a bit more speed than you use for an Andy 360 — enough to pop off with room to spare.
A 540 won't come all the way around on nose rebound alone, so you need that snap plus enough speed for a small hop. Keep enough momentum to complete 1.5 rotations, but stay within a speed you don't lose control of.
Load deeply onto your front foot and push your hips directly over the nose (front) to build a deep nose press.
Shift your weight forward until your back foot almost lifts, flexing the front half of the board hard. That flex becomes the first push into the spin.
Before you turn, wind your upper body 20–30 degrees the opposite way (toward the BS side = heel direction).
Pre-twisting the other way means your lower body whips around hard when you release it. Send your eyes ahead toward where you're rotating (FS = toe direction) first.
As the flex springs back, pop lightly off your front foot and leave the ground.
Snap your wound-up upper body sharply toward the FS direction and turn your hips the same way at the same moment. The spin speed is set in this instant of takeoff — you can't add to it in the air. Let the rotation follow your eyes in order: shoulders → hips → board.
While airborne, draw both arms in to the front of your chest and tuck both knees slightly to make your body small.
With the same momentum, the more compact you are, the faster you spin — so the 1.5 rotations finish in time.
Around 1.25 rotations, open your arms slightly to slow the spin, spot your direction of travel, and land both feet at once in a switch stance.
Bend your knees to absorb the impact and ride away switch.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logPrerequisite: a solid Andy 360. A 540 is the 360's rotation feel plus a small hop and a counter-wind.
You stall at 360 and the last half rotation won't come → not enough initial spin speed at takeoff. You can't add momentum in the air, so strengthen the wind-and-release of your upper body and the front-foot pop to spin out faster at liftoff.
