Ski 180 Kicker.
180キッカー
キッカーで半回転
How to
Step by stepApproach a gentle-to-medium kicker straight on, at a steady speed that's brisk but fully under control.
Keep your feet shoulder-width, ankles and knees softly bent, and your eyes on the spot just past the lip (the take-off edge).
In the last part of your run-in, pre-wind only your upper body slightly in the direction you want to spin (either way works), loading like a coiled spring.
Keep your hips and skis facing forward and turn just your shoulder line about 45 degrees ahead. The spin you'll get is set the instant you leave the lip and can't be added in the air, so build that coil here.
As you ride up the lip, extend your bent ankles, knees and hips all at once to pop straight up (a light ollie).
At the same moment, unwind that loaded shoulder turn and send your gaze over the shoulder on your spin side toward where you'll land. Lead with your eyes and your body follows.
Take off with the skis flat on the snow, not on an edge.
If you're tipped onto either set of edges, the skis catch the snow and the rotation stalls.
Once airborne, tuck your arms and poles loosely in front of your chest and pull your limbs toward your center to stay compact.
The tighter you tuck, the faster you rotate for the same effort, giving you room to complete the 180.
Past the halfway point, spot the landing with your eyes.
As you come around to switch (riding backward), level your skis parallel to the slope and line them up straight down the fall line.
Land on both feet at once, absorbing through the whole foot from the ball to the heel.
Bend deeply at the ankles, knees and hips to soak up the impact, keep your chest stacked over the skis, and ride away switch.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe spin is set the moment you leave the lip and can't be increased in the air. Loading a shoulder coil late in the run-in and releasing it at the lip lets you come all the way around without throwing your body wildly.
Landing crooked, short of a full 180 → the shoulder pre-wind at the lip was too weak, so the release lacked drive. Open your shoulder line about 45 degrees ahead late in the run-in and unwind it at the lip to add rotation.
