Ski Airmat 180.
エアマット180
スキーでエアマット180
How to
Step by stepIn a parallel stance (both skis side by side), head straight at the lip (the takeoff edge of the jump).
A slow speed, just fast enough not to stall, is plenty. Bend your knees slightly, put a little weight on the big-toe side (inside edges), and ride straight in.
Just before the lip, send your eyes and face first toward the direction you want to spin.
When your eyes lead, your neck, shoulders, and hips follow, making the spin easier.
At the top of the lip, extend both legs evenly to leave the snow.
If one leg pushes harder than the other you'll tilt in the air, so push with equal force on both feet. As you leave, turn both shoulders first toward the way you want to spin.
Because your shoulders already lead, your hips and then both skis follow around.
Keep both skis parallel and together, and tuck your knees up slightly so your body stays compact and spins more easily.
Once you've turned halfway and face backward (switch), land on your back on the airmat with confidence.
The mat is forgiving, so coming up short is far gentler than on snow. For now, focus on committing all the way to the half rotation.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe cue to start the spin works better as "lead with your eyes" than "turn your shoulders." When your gaze moves first, your neck, shoulders, and hips naturally follow, with less tension than trying to wrench your whole upper body around at once.
The spin stalls around 90 degrees → Your eyes aren't following the direction of rotation. Turn your face fully toward the spin direction before you take off.
