Nose Butter.
ノーズバター
ノーズに荷重して板をしならせ回転
How to
Step by stepStart by riding straight on flat ground or a gentle slope, eyes looking down the direction of travel.
Keep your speed just a touch above walking pace so the board stays manageable once it starts to spin.
Bend your front knee and shift your weight onto the ball of your front foot to settle into a nose press.
Load the front enough that your back-foot heel feels almost weightless, this lightens the tail and lets you pivot the board around the nose's contact point.
Holding that front-loaded position, slowly twist your hips and upper body toward the way you want to turn.
Open your arms slightly to the opposite side first, then wind them around, so the upper-body coil feeds down into the board and starts it turning. Look toward where you want to end up and your body will follow.
Once the board comes around, keep feeding it at a steady pace without over-twisting.
Aim for 90 degrees at first, then 180 once it feels natural. Just before you finish the rotation, ease off the pressure on your front foot and bring your weight back to the center of the board, so the tail doesn't drop suddenly, the board flattens out, and you drift naturally back to your normal stance.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThink of lifting your back-foot heel as you load the ball of your front foot, this keeps the tail light so the board pivots cleanly around the nose. Leaving weight on the back foot catches the tail and stalls the spin.
The press collapses and you pitch forward before the spin starts → your front knee is still straight and you are leaning the body forward instead of loading it → bend the front knee and stack your weight directly over the front foot, keeping your chest up while shifting only the load forward.
