Ski Airmat FS 540.

How to
Step by stepYou should already land FS360 switch consistently every time.
On the airmat you can stop fearing the landing and focus purely on completing the rotation. Approach a little faster than you would for an FS360, at a steady medium speed, facing a mellow kicker square on.
A few meters before the lip, lightly wind only your upper body the opposite way of your spin (toward your back foot / backside), leaving your shoulder line about 5 to 10 degrees behind while your hips stay pointed with the board.
Unwinding this stored coil on takeoff is what feeds the spin.
At the lip, press through the balls of both feet, extend your knees and pop straight up as you unweight.
At the same moment release the wound-up upper body and send your chin and eyes ahead into the direction of spin. Push perpendicular to the slope, not sideways. Leaning downhill here makes you spin off-axis.
Once the board leaves the snow, keep leading with your upper body by pulling your back-foot shoulder around.
All your spin momentum is set the instant you leave the lip and cannot be added in the air, so from here you only manage speed with body shape.
Around the 360 mark (first full rotation), draw both knees toward your chest and pull both arms in to make yourself as compact as possible.
The tighter you tuck, the faster you spin on the same momentum, and this reels in the remaining 180.
Near 450 degrees the landing (the airmat) comes into view.
As soon as you spot it, extend both legs back down and open up to brake the spin and settle your stance.
540 is one and a half rotations, so you land switch, nose and tail reversed from takeoff.
Bend your knees softly to absorb the impact, keep your eyes far ahead, and stop.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logYour pre-takeoff upper-body wind-up sets how far you spin. For a 540 just coil slightly deeper than for a 360, and do not over-pop. Forcing the pop throws you forward instead of up and kills your height.
Not enough height to finish the 540 → You are forcing the pop, tipping forward and flying out rather than up. Press perpendicular to the slope through the balls of your feet and think of lifting your head straight up to gain airtime.
