Ski Airmat 540.
エアマット540

How to
Step by stepYou should already land 360 consistently.
Approach at a moderate speed, about the same as your 360 takeoff, and ride straight into the lip. Since it is an airmat there is no need to worry about stopping, so just focus on adding a little more spin.
Just before the lip, bend both knees to sink down and start turning your eyes and chest toward your spin direction.
Leading with the upper body before the legs loads the spin so it is ready the instant you leave the lip.
At the top of the lip, extend both legs and drive straight up.
As you do, snap open the chest and shoulders you pre-wound to feed spin into the takeoff. All of your spin is set the moment you leave the lip and cannot be added in the air, so build it here.
Right after takeoff, pull both knees to your chest and wrap both arms in close to make yourself compact.
The tighter you tuck, the faster you spin for the same effort. Skis are bulky because there are two of them, so squeeze your thighs together and stack both skis directly under your body.
Send your eyes ahead in the direction of travel right off the lip, then spot the landing over your shoulder as you come around.
Past the full-rotation point you will start to see the airmat behind you.
A 540 (one and a half rotations) finishes switch (riding backward).
Spin all the way through and let yourself fall back onto the airmat. Unlike snow you do not need to brace with your legs, so you can give all your focus to the rotation.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logYour spin is set at takeoff and cannot be topped up in the air, so steps 2 and 3 (pre-winding the chest and shoulders, then snapping them open) are what earn the extra half rotation of a 540. The knee tuck does not add spin, it just makes you compact so you spin faster.
Not enough height to finish the spin → you are not extending straight up at takeoff, or your sink is too shallow. Bend the knees fully into the lip and extend both legs upward at the top.
