FS Tailslide.

1. Approach the rail frontside (so the front of your body faces the rail) at a slow, controlled speed, riding straight in.

   Keep your eyes on the exact spot you want to land on, not on the lip of the rail.

2. Just before the rail, bend both knees to load (about 70 degrees) and ollie by snapping the tail (the base behind your back foot) off the snow, using your front foot as the pivot.

3. The instant you leave the snow, push your back foot forward to swing the board 90 degrees toward the front of your body (frontside).

   Stop the rotation the moment the board reaches sideways, do not over-rotate.

4. Set the tail (the base under your back-foot heel and just behind it) onto the rail.

   Keep weight roughly front foot 3-4 : back foot 6-7, favoring the back foot, and let the nose (front) float slightly. The more you load the back foot, the more the contact point sits toward the tail, which keeps you from slipping into an unstable centered boardslide.

5. Stack your hips directly over your back foot, keep your upper body tall (do not lean back), and look down the rail toward the exit as you slide.

6. As the end of the rail nears, unwind the board back to your direction of travel, soak up the landing by bending both knees softly.
