Butter 720.
バター720
バターから2回転
How to
Step by stepOn a medium or steeper slope, build enough speed riding nearly flat-based without setting the edge hard.
All of your spin is set the instant you leave the snow, so speed comes first.
Just before you press, pre-wind: turn only your upper body slightly the opposite way to the spin.
Point your chest, chin, and eyes against the rotation and twist your shoulder line, so that when you release it your body snaps into the turn.
Bend your front knee and shift your weight forward, sinking deep onto the nose and loading toward the toe (front of the foot) to flex the front half of the board.
Keep the back foot light so the tail floats.
At the moment the flex is deepest, snap the front leg straight to turn the board's rebound into upward lift and pop off.
At the same time unwind the upper-body twist from step 2 all at once and send your eyes ahead into the spin. Leading with your eyes pulls the body after them and starts the rotation faster.
Once airborne, pull both arms and both knees in toward your center and make yourself small.
With the same spin momentum, the tighter and more compact you are the faster you turn, which lets you complete the two rotations.
As the 720 (two full turns) comes around, open your arms slightly to brake the spin and bring your eyes back to your direction of travel.
Bend both knees to absorb the impact and catch the snow with the whole base of the board, landing in your normal stance.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe prerequisite is a solid butter 540. This builds directly on the wind-up-and-release and the near-two-rotation feel you already own from the 540, just stronger.
Falling short and dropping mid-spin → the pre-wind before entry was shallow, so there is not enough force in the unwind → in step 2 twist your chest and chin firmly the opposite way, then release it all at once as you extend.
