Airmat FS 1080.
エアマットFS1080
エアマットで3回転のFS回転
How to
Step by stepYou should already land FS900 consistently on the airmat.
Use the largest kicker and approach at a steady speed, a bit faster than medium but still controllable. Because the airmat softens the landing, you can commit fully to the takeoff.
Just before the lip, wind your upper body slightly ahead toward the frontside direction and send your eyes to the diagonal-front of where you want to spin.
Don't spin yet, just load the twist.
At the lip, extend both knees and pop straight up.
As you pop, release the wound-up upper body all at once, leading with shoulders, then hips, then the board. All three rotations' worth of spin is set the instant you leave the lip, you can't add to it in the air, so pour everything into the pop strength and the lead.
The moment the board leaves the snow, pull both knees to your chest and wrap both arms in front of your body to make yourself compact.
The tighter you draw your limbs into your center, the faster you spin on the same momentum, buying time to complete three rotations.
Spin while hunting for the landing (the airmat) with your eyes.
Once past one and a half rotations (540 degrees, around where you face roughly the opposite direction), look for the next moment you can spot straight below.
Past two and a half rotations (900 degrees), as the front comes into view, gradually open your wrap and spread both arms out to the sides.
Moving your limbs away from your center slows the spin, taming the last 180 degrees so you don't over-rotate.
As you come back to your original direction (facing front), extend both legs and receive the airmat with the full soles of both feet.
Since it's an airmat, it'll absorb you even if your direction is slightly off. The goal is to learn under- and over-rotation in your body.
Tips & common mistakes
In the app — learn while you logThe spin is set at the instant of takeoff, so no amount of effort in the air adds rotation. Focus everything on pop strength and the amount of lead.
Opening before facing front and falling short → either the pop is too weak or the wrap is too shallow, making the spin slow. Pull your knees deep to your chest and extend the pop fully through the lip.
